What started as fliers for independent wrestling shows grew into posters for country stars and members of Boston, art for metal bands, and work featured in Decibel and Deaf Forever. Our style is rooted in 1980s and 1990s horror, sci-fi and pop culture, but any style can be accommodated, with files that are clean, and ready for print or screen.

About
Founder & Lead Designer, Macabre Media, LLC
Joel Andre Bouchard has been designing graphics for clients since 2006. He founded Macabre Media as a brand in 2014 and made it a Maine LLC in 2026.
He got his start making fliers and promotional posters for independent pro wrestling shows across the United States, plus printed materials for church events and community gatherings. That event work grew into concert posters for top Maine acts, American Idol performers Josiah Dyer and Colby Swift, country stars John Michael Montgomery and Darryl Worley, and Sib Hashian and Barry Goudreau of the band Boston.
In music he has created artwork for Acheron, Love/Hate and Dangerous Toys, and his work has appeared in Decibel, Legacy, Break Out and Deaf Forever. His client list also takes in record labels, restaurants, non-profits and corporate businesses, and he often works directly with the owner from the first idea to the final files.
His style is retro, rooted in 1980s and 1990s horror, sci-fi and pop culture, however, he excels in accommodating any style needed. Files are clean, and ready for print or screen. Clients know him as easy to work with.

Home movies on 8mm and Super 8 film, and old VHS tapes, turned into digital files you can play on a phone, a laptop or a TV. Every reel and tape is logged and checked in, handled here in Maine, and your originals come back to you labeled.

Our own vault of 8mm, Super 8, 16mm, 35mm and VHS: features, cartoons, serials, newsreels, trailers and home movies, logged one reel at a time. Search it, sort it and dig around.
